Everything's going great with the development of the Um, Actually game, and we don't have any major news to report. We just wanted to take a moment to wish you all the very best of the season, from the team here at Wiggles 3D!

We're about to take a week off to celebrate with our families, friends, and loved ones, but we'll be back in the new year to take Um, Actually to the finish line. We're sure that you'll be delighted by the final product!

In the meantime, we'd like to remind you that if you haven't completed your survey, please take a moment to do so. It's an essential step in completing your order.

BackerKit Survey Deadline is Friday!

Hello backers!

Fall is in the air, and we're hard at work (and having fun!) developing the content for the Um, Actually game! We're still on schedule for fulfillment in August 2022, as planned.

Thanks to all of you who have already completed your BackerKit surveys. For those of you who haven’t, please take a moment to do so before this Friday, October 29 at noon, Eastern Time. If you're still hoping to add games or other items to your survey, this is your last chance!

What happens on Friday?

We’ll be locking down the items in your survey. Once that happens, you won't be able to change the items added to your pledge, or add any new items. This is an essential step so we can finalize our order quantities for the factory!

We’ll also be charging your credit card for any funds still owing. These will include:

• shipping charges for all backers
• the costs of any add-on games, decks, or whiteboard/marker packs (if you chose to add any to your survey)
• the cost of your pledge, if Kickstarter was unable to charge your card at the end of the campaign

How can I review what items I added, and find out how much I'll be charged on Friday?

Just go back to your survey, and click the "Edit Your Order" at the top right to see your order details. If you need a new link to your survey, you can request one at https://um-actually.backerkit.com/ by entering the e-mail address linked to your Kickstarter account.

What if I never got my survey?

You can always go to https://um-actually.backerkit.com/ and enter the e-mail address linked to your Kickstarter account to have BackerKit e-mail you a new link to your survey. If you no longer have access to the e-mail address you used, or if the link isn't coming through, just e-mail us at [email protected] and we'll help you out.

What if I miss the deadline?

Your survey will remain open until you complete it, but we can’t guarantee availability of games or add-ons for backers who complete their surveys after the deadline. So please take a moment and complete your survey as soon as you can!

What if I need to change my address later?

Even after Friday, you’ll still to be able to access your survey to change your address... you just won't be able to add or change items. Once we get closer to our ship date, we’ll send out another update to let you know that we’re about to finalize addresses.

I’m a Late Pledge Backer. Do I still need to complete a survey?

If you placed an order on the Late Pledge Store after the Kickstarter ended, you’ve already provided all the information we need... no need to complete a survey.

Greetings and salutations from the Wiggles 3D team!

We’re still hard at work developing all the great content for the Um, Actually home game, but we thought we’d pop our heads up just to give you all a quick update on our progress.

Everything is going smoothly, though perhaps a bit slower than we predicted. We want to make sure that each statement is interesting, well-researched and fact-checked… and that does take time!

Even so, we’re confident that we’ll be able to deliver the game by our projected date of August 2022.

Lockdown is Coming!

...Not that type of lockdown, though. As we mentioned in our last update, we’ll be locking down orders at the end of October. If you haven’t yet completed your survey, please do so now! It only takes a minute.

If you never received a survey link, or can’t remember if you’ve completed your survey, just go to https://um-actually.backerkit.com/ and enter your e-mail address to have BackerKit send you a new survey link.

If you might be moving in the future, don't worry... we won't be locking addresses until we're about to ship out the games. We'll just be locking down the specific items you're ordering, so we can get started on making them!

Attention Apple Backers!

If you chose to use the “Sign in with Apple” feature when you backed our Kickstarter, you probably never received your survey. Why not? Well, that service generates a private relay e-mail address that only accepts messages from Kickstarter… which means that all messages from BackerKit are being blocked.

So, if you’re one of these backers, please reach out to us with a new e-mail address we can use to send you your survey!

Hello again backers!

We're happy to report that BackerKit has now sent out all of the surveys, and three-quarters of you have completed them! Thank you so much, we really appreciate it.

If you haven't gotten around to completing your survey yet, please take a moment to do so as soon as you can. These surveys are essential for us to know how many games and add-ons we should print. If you never received your survey, you can always go to https://um-actually.backerkit.com/ to ask BackerKit to send it again.

What To Expect From Here

We understand that our projected shipping date of August 2022 is a long way away, so we'd like to take a moment to give you an idea of what you can expect from us from now until you get your game.

Writing the content: Our next priority is to get the game finished and sent to the factory for production, so we're going to be heads-down busy for the next little while, creating questions, fact-checking, and finalizing.

Locking survey items and charging cards: When the content is done, we'll lock down your surveys so we can place the order with the factory.  This is when your credit card will be charged for any amounts still owing (shipping charges plus any add-ons added in BackerKit). We will send out another update when we're about to do this, which should be in September or October.

If you're planning on moving soon, don't worry: you'll be able to change your shipping address even after we lock the surveys, right up until we're ready to send out the games. 

Shipping the games to our depots: When the games are ready, they'll pass through the seven levels of the candy cane forest, through the sea of swirly-twirly gum drops... wait, that's not right. Your games are going to cross the ocean by container ship, clear customs, then travel by truck to the depots. Way less fun.

Locking addresses: Once the games arrive at the depots, we'll be sending out another update to let you know that we're about to lock down addresses. If your address has changed from what you originally filled out, this will be your last chance to update it.

Shipping your games: Then we start shipping! We've said that we expect this to happen in August 2022, but we've built in lots of hedge for the various delays that can happen in production and shipping. We're hoping that we'll catch a few breaks and be able to ship your games to you much sooner!

In the meantime, we suggest that you check out Dropout.tv and get caught up on any episodes of Um, Actually that you haven't seen... and maybe binge-watch some Dimension 20 while you're at it. By the time your games arrive, you'll be an unstoppable Um, Actually master!

Backerkit Surveys and New Add-ons!

Hello again, backers! 

Since the campaign ended, we've been hard at work getting everything rolling to make the Um, Actually game a reality. And it's time for the next big step: sending out the BackerKit surveys! 

These surveys are a vital part of the project because they let us know how many games we need to make and where we'll need to send them. So be sure to complete yours!

When to Expect the Survey

We'll be sending out the surveys by e-mail over the next few days. They'll come from [email protected] and will go to the e-mail linked to your Kickstarter account. If you don't see yours, check your spam folder!

We'll be leaving the surveys open until we're ready to place the order with the factory, which should be in September. However, the sooner you complete your survey, the easier it will be for us to plan our production. So please complete your survey as soon as you can.

What's in the Survey?

In the survey, you'll be able to...

• provide your address and phone number for shipping. However, if you're planning to move in the near future, don't worry: you'll be able to change your address right up until we ship, which won't be until next year.
• add more copies of the game or snag any of our sweet add-ons.
•  change your pledge level, if you want to get a different edition than the one you pledged for on Kickstarter.
•  enter your credit card information to pay for your shipping and any additional add-ons or upgrades. Or, if your pledge payment failed on Kickstarter, you can still get your pledge by paying in BackerKit. However, please note that we will not be charging cards until we lock down the surveys in September. 

Previous Backer Credit

If you're a backer of one of our previous Kickstarters (5-Minute Dungeon, the 5-Minute Dungeon Curses Expansion, or 5-Minute Mystery), we offered you a returning backer gift of $5 off your pledge. This should appear as a complimentary credit in your BackerKit survey, underneath "Pledged Amount" on the add-on screen.

If you are a returning backer and did not receive the credit, let us know right away by sending us a Kickstarter message or an e-mail to [email protected].

Dropout Subscriptions

Returning backers and backers at the Prop From the Show level also receive free subscriptions to Dropout, CollegeHumor's content-streaming service. We'll send you an e-mail soon with information on how to receive these free months.

New Add-ons Available!

Speaking of the survey, make sure you take a moment to browse the add-on options, because there are two new choices for you! 

•  Additional Whiteboards & Markers: We heard your feedback! Some of you mentioned wanting the option to grab some additional whiteboards and dry-erase markers for your kit. Well, now you can, for only C$5.00 and no additional shipping!
•  5-Minute Mystery: This was the game we produced for our previous Kickstarter, and now you can get a copy of the retail edition of the game for yourself! In this high-intensity, deductive game, you’ll work together with your friends to find hidden symbols, piece together clues, and arrest a culprit, all in just five minutes!

We'll give you a little time to digest all this new information, then we'll be back with another update next week about what to expect in the months to come.
